HouseholdOS Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

HouseholdOS ("the app") is operated by CW Talent Group LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information we collect

When you create an account and use the app, we collect and store: your name and email address (from sign-up, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In); your profile details (photo, bio, and optional Venmo username); content you create in your household, including messages, posts, comments, events, chore logs, issue reports, guest check-ins, and photos you attach; household financial records such as rent amounts, utility shares, bill documents, payment confirmations, and an audit log of payment confirmations; legal documents your household admin uploads (such as leases and disclosures); and a device push token so we can deliver notifications you've enabled.

How we use it

All data is used solely to provide the app's functionality to you and your household: splitting and tracking shared costs, showing bills and documents to the right members, sending household notifications, and maintaining payment records your household can rely on. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Where your data lives

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Firebase Authentication), protected by security rules so that household data is only readable by that household's members, and certain records (like payment audit logs and per-tenant documents) are restricted further. Firebase's own privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Payments themselves happen in Venmo — we never see or store your bank or card details.

Sharing within your household

By design, some of your information is visible to your household: your name, profile, posts, messages, RSVPs, guest check-ins, and payment status are shown to household members and its admin as part of normal app function.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile at any time. You can leave a household (Settings → Account → Leave Household), which revokes your access to its data. You can delete your account in-app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), which permanently removes your sign-in, profile, and push tokens. Shared household records you participated in (such as rent history and inspection records) are retained for the household's legal record-keeping. To request additional data deletion, email us.

Children

HouseholdOS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
